1. Tomas will be 5 years old June 17th
2. JJ has a new job in the Netherlands and starts there on 1st September.
3. We leave NZ around 20th of August – date to be finalised
4. We will be away for ???? at least 3 years
5. Morgan is delighted (he lives in Zurich, Switzerland)
6. Melissa is delighted for us (she lives in Auckland with Laurence and Tomas their son, our grandchild). Although she was heard to say – Parents don’t leave their children, children leave their parents.
We have been planning a move to the country – with a few acres, a few chickens and pigs, fruit trees, vege garden etc – and have been actively looking for a place for about 18 months or so – out of the blue came a job opportunity and JJ took it.
As you can guess things have been a bit up and down for some months and now it is about 10 or so weeks until we leave thought I should let everyone know.
